Sarah Hale has been an entrepreneur since the age of seven when she began selling Lisa Frank merchandise. She spent several years after college working in the music industry and then in non-profit marketing. Sarah recently took a leap of faith and launched SDH Strategy earlier this year in order to help female creatives and small business owners combine great ideas with purpose and strategy. Sarah utilizes an individualized approach rather than a “one-size-fits-all” strategy to serve her clients. She and her husband currently live in Nashville where they enjoy art, design, and exploration.

In our conversation, Sarah walks us through the journey of leaving a successful career in order to start her own business and how she came to the realization that this was God’s plan for her. She shares what can happen (and has) when she lets doubt creep in or when she looks for something other than Christ to give her reassurance. Sarah is honest about her struggles and insecurities and openly discusses the challenges she is facing as she strives to be successful without losing sight of what is truly important.
Sarah’s story is a wonderful reminder of all the ways God can speak to us when we are paying attention. In pursuing her own God-shaped dream, she is using her gifts to encourage other entrepreneurs to realize and pursue their own dreams.
