Andrea Conway is passionate about living life authentically with others, whether that be in her community, gathering women around a dinner table, or working with Ethiopian children who live in extreme poverty. Each year she travels to Addis Ababa with Out of the Ashes. She has learned to listen, learn, work, and then listen some more in her five years of mission trips to Africa. Andrea has been married to Neil for 15 years; they have three wonderful and active little boys and recently moved back to her hometown. They could not love the small community life more.

In our conversation, Andrea will share how her obedience to God turned into a passion for the impoverished children of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She will also share how, over a period of three years, God resurrected an old, dead dream of hers that, today, has far greater potential for impact than when it was first born in her heart.
In order to follow God’s call to love the children of Africa, Andrea learned that His dreams for her are so much greater than her own. She’ll give us a glimpse into her dreams for her future ministry in Ethiopia and how she is trusting God to continue to grow what He planted inside of her.
She’ll also share a powerful Bible story to remind us that God is at work even when it seems like your prayers are going unanswered and His instructions don’t, at first, make sense.
