IF YOU’VE EVER FELT LIKE YOU DIDN’T HAVE A DREAM, THIS IS THE EPISODE FOR YOU.
In this conversation Trillia shares how we can be faithful in the everyday ordinary things and content even when life doesn’t look the way we expected it to. She talks about her struggle with fear, specifically fear of man, and ways she’s tackled that in her life. And she shares her passion for us all to know and see the Imago Dei (the image of God) in every person and the children’s book she’s written to help us do a better job of that for ourselves and our kids.
It was a joy to speak with Trillia. Her honesty about the internal struggles as well as her perspective that maybe not everyone has a God-shaped dream is an important voice in this conversation. I hope you enjoy her as much as I did!

SCRIPTURE:
The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe.
Proverbs 29:25 (ESV)
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:15-16 (ESV)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 (ESV)
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8 (ESV)
For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
Ephesians 2:14-16 (ESV)
