How can you launch a dream when you don’t feel ready?

It can be difficult to know when and how to launch a dream because of limitations that seem impossible to overcome. As Junia Judson began researching what it would take to bring her dream to life, she met someone who believed it was not only feasible but also could become a reality sooner than Junia ever imagined.

In case you haven’t heard, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which is just one reason I’m featuring Junia Judson this week. The other reason is this: Six months ago Junia founded a digital services agency called the Juniatize Project, which trains and employs domestic violence survivors as a path toward financial freedom. Today she has five survivors on her team.

Junia has spent the last six years rebuilding her life with her three kids (ages 10, 12, and 13). A survivor herself, Junia was struggling to get back into the workforce and get off of public assistance, a concern she knows is common among women coming out of abusive relationships, especially those with children. That’s where the vision for her dream was born.
